Your Go-To Store for Traditional Rugs

Traditional rugs tend to refer to timeless color and design ignoring all current and past trends. Center medallions, all-over drawings, floral, and geometric are all rug designs that fall into a traditional pattern. Typically, ivory, red, navy, and green make up your most basic traditionally colored rugs. Traditional rugs are made differently both in materials used and knotting style depending on their countries of origin.

Get Quality Traditional Area Rugs

We prefer to concentrate on quality and uniqueness rather than sheer volume and inflated artificial prices to showcase the best of what's available in the traditional area rug marketplace today.

Our unique gallery focuses on the individual tastes of our customers, giving us a more boutique style. Many of the rugs at the gallery are hand-selected by Andrew, Greg and the rest of the J. Namnoun staff.

The marketplace for area rugs and carpets has expanded over the years. To continually meet the needs of our customers, we continue to carry a large selection of broadloom carpeting that can be used as wall to wall carpeting or an area rug.

Broadloom Carpeting

Exclusive contemporary geometric designs, small patterns, and luscious florals combine with a large selection of simple carpeting in a variety of colors. Shag, berber, and cut piled carpets make up the majority.

These fine carpet options can be ordered for all the wall to wall installations, or cut and bound to specific sizes. Contrasting borders can be added to further define the look. We also have a large group of natural fiber products such as sisal, jute, seagrass, coir, linen, and silk, which can be made to order with your choice of bindings.

For the more dramatic look, try animal skins. We have designs that look like leopard, zebra, antelope, crocodile, cheetah, and python. Did you know that Marie Antoinette decorated the Petit Trianon with Savonnerie carpets in the leopard pattern? If all these choices are not enough, we offer hand-knotted, custom-designed rugs in your choice of pattern, color and size.

We offer high-quality and trusted work with competitive pricing by removing the middle man. All work is done in-house. There is no sales deception with inflated margins.
